Former Trump advisor says he refuses to cooperate with Russia investigation

A former aid to President Donald Trump’s campaign team, Sam Nunberg, refuses to hand over numerous documents to the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, Nunberg told the American press yesterday.

Nunberg does not comply with his subpoena and says he will not show up next Friday before a grand jury in Washington D.C.

If he does not cooperate he may be prosecuted, but that does not seem to deter him. ‘The subpoena is absolutely ridiculous’, Nunberg tells American newsbroadcast MSNBC, ‘I think it would be funny if they arrest me.’

Update: Tuesday Nunberg said in a phone interview with CNN that he will cooperate after all and is working hard gathering all the needed documents.
